Americans are sometimes surprised to find out there are modern democratic countries where the media isn't allowed to publish their own polls days before a federal election.
This is because it's such a well-known phenom, so predictable to influence that they actually suspend free speech and freedom of the press to try and guarantee the purest free will voting. Just look up North to Canada to see that.
Many here know these tricks of course. In 2016 NONE OF THE MEDIA WAS SURPRISED. None. None that were familiar and followed closely, none of the experts were surprised Trump won. What they did was purposely discount 'participation' from their polls and decided that having it appear Hillary was certain to win was the most effective available way to influence voters.
What they are doing now is much much worse and far more dangerous. I know it from some South America 'banana republics' but I believe anyone here who's familiar with Eastern European elections knows full-well how this will play out.
So what's likely happened is that the media people are aware Trump is very likely to win this. Some are already bracing for a real possibility of a Trump landslide win and that includes congress.
What they are doing here is gaming sampling, playing tricks with numbers, basically rigging their own polls in ways so that they can create a very strong narrative that Harris-Biden are WAY AHEAD.
This will not stop and if anything there will be a lot of stories and headlines about 'Trump Desperation' and stories about how Biden locked in such an insurmountable lead. Note lots of language, insurmountable, locked in, Biden is clearly, obviously, everything is 'clear' and so on.
Why?
In the Media Party's Doomsday scenario this works either way. If Trump wins by a moderate or close margin we evidence of a fraudulent election. If Trump wins by a landslide its an even bigger fraud! It's even more unbelievable the more numbers Trump gets!
The huge Biden lead in polls will be their 'evidence' and even their 'Proof' that the election results were rigged and Trump and Putin obviously did something. Trump will be the illegitimate president etc.
They will also start referring to their polls as if they are referring to the 'American voters' and as if they are the words of 'the vast majority of Americans' and that the bogus election results are the enemy of the people (their polls are now 'the people'.
This is HIGHLY EFFECTIVE. This will work on the dumb NPC's but watch in amazement as this works like magic on some of the smarter people you know in life.
This will be their premise, justification and their influential narrative for a massive campaign to dismiss Trump as legitimate president and some already know that will lead to some very horrific consequences.
Please know this. This actually can be mitigated in the last few weeks by simply calling it out. Point out they are reduced to 3rd world Media levels, point out they're using a cheap technique from less sophisticated democracies and embarrass them over such a nasty gimmick.
But please know this is a dangerous game and be aware of this.

I think this is really well known to Eastern Europeans and I just heard an example of this in that Baltic country with that old-school communist and recent elections but I wasn't paying attention.
Also i hope we have some Venezuelans here because I believe that is exactly what they were doing with Madurro and recent elections etc.
Watching America wake up from being decieved for so long will be amazing to watch.
Something I am loving. I really do believe many many Americans are now catching on to all these things.
A real life example just days ago when I was having a chat with a Mainland Chinese who grew up his entire life in communist China. The Chinese guy was so fully aware of everything, all the manipulations, he knew every way Chinese State TV is manipulating, what tricks go on. He could easily figure out the 'angle' or what the propaganda game was. He was the one who asked why they said Biden was way way ahead in the polls. When he asked 'Why' he really did mean "What is the Media Party trying to pull and game".
Americans and really a lot of us in the Western Democracies actually had the opposite run: We came from a good honest start and became used to assuming straightforward reporting and media THEN we started having these games and swamp people and tricks. We had to learn recently!
But i believe it's happening. The majority of the public sees through these games now. They are onto manipulation, they know what "poll campaigning'" is, they disregard it now.
That makes me very very happy and yes, proud.

That doesn't work like that anymore, at least not in the era of Trump....
Every time I see posts talking about us getting complacent I literally just shake my head at how retarded that is...
If the Democrats accomplished anything this year it was making sure that not a single fucking Trump supporter in this entire country, or across the planet, would become complacent for even a second.
If they really wanted to influence Trump voters their best bet would be to show Trump 50 points ahead. The worst possible thing they could do to force more voter turnout for Trump is to show him losing, which is exactly the path they chose.....
Okay but this is definitely not one of those posts.
This specific upcoming election aside, this very often results in increasing turnout for the 'winning horse'. The phenom is that we have far too many morons who actually believe what we are doing is 'betting on a winner'. There is also another type of vainglorious voter who wants the feeling of being on the winning side, the victors, to vote for whoever they think will win.
To the other end, yes there is a known phenom where, seeing their favorite candidate is probably going to lose - they don't bother voting anyway. Similar explanations there too.
In this case, what they've done is so far the other way that it's given up and bypassing any of that. It's going way over the line to building a case for 'Election Fraud' and a illegitimate vote.
It could be useful the other way IF Saddam Hussein does indeed win a 'democratic election' by way of outrageous voter fraud, election tampering and it's simply not that suspicious when, after all, he was like 90% in all the media polls all along anyway. So its not suspicious he won 88% of the vote right?
