People in developing democracies walk on foot for three days, camp rough, cook over campfires, all for the chance to vote. There may even be armed militia awaiting them at the polls.
Any American feeling apathetic, entirely cynical, outnumbered, intimidated, peer-pressured, or even uncomfortable gong out to vote will do well to remember what has been sacrificed for the simple right to vote in this world. Put your mark on the board. Those you hope will serve your vision for the country need to see that mark, especially in areas where they are outnumbered. God bless.
Yeah I'm walking out there on election day also. Got my polling place all lined up, and didn't even consider fucking around with a mail-in ballot.
