I've always thought that, unlike China, with time we could be pretty good friends with Russia. We just have to stop pitting our respective third world puppets against each other.
I agree with this, it's why Democrats keep trying to pit us against Russia. They know China is screwed if Russia, and the United States go against them, so they maintain this bellicose attitude towards Russia over issues that shouldn't even concern us anyways.
