As a tech Pede, let me just say that website contact forms are notoriously bad. Website contact forms get a ton of spam (even with captchas) or go to a separate mail account that people have forgotten about or fired the person who used to check it, etc.
The computer repair guy should have just called the office directly instead of trying to make contact through a web form. Phone calls and snail mail letters are still the lifeblood of Congress and have been for decades. Once you make contact with someone in the office they give you their personal contact email and that's when you go digital because you know who to follow up with.
It's Mike Lee's responsibility to ensure adequate staff to respond to contacts such as these. If he can't do that then they need to pull the form or provide an SLA and ticket #.
