At a family gathering a month ago, I spoke with a white male friend who lost a promotion to an outside hire, a black lesbian who had absolutely no background in the industry, another white male said he and all the other engineers at his company have been subjected to White Privilege lectures and made to write letters apologizing for being born white. This guy's family are first generation immigrants who fled a war zone, he wants to know if that is what supposedly constitutes his privilege, getting out of a war zone alive? Both are voting for Trump.
Edited to add: The EEO category is RACE. Not every race but white, but discrimination based on RACE. It wouldn't be the first time someone filed a complaint based on anti-white discrimination/harassment. He should get a lawyer.

This is illegal, tell him to Look into sueing.
Trainings based solely on Race are discrimination.
I told him about Trump's EO stopping these training programs for all companies that do business with the Fed govt, his company is a govt vendor.
True, but even on its face it's illegal. If your boss calls you down to the office at ANY time and it's about your Race, its illegal.
That is not what happened, he was in a class and made to write the letter, it was part of an HR exercise.
