It would've been much smarter for them to keep us on reddit. They had us right where they wanted us and had they played it smarter they could've been more effective. Now they have no control, the normies on reddit are seeing it and waking up, and we are totally free to meme the left relentlessly.

I don’t agree with that. Usually they are thinking long-term. Like with 90% of taxes they want to pass for stupid shit. They’re thinking that within a year, you’ll forget you’re even being taxed. Then in 10 years, they can default on the project and already have embezzled the money. Or, claim it didn’t work and say it’s because they need more money and you’re racist. It works. It’s been financially more successful than anything conservatives have ever done in that regard.
The left/establishment’s main problem is approaching the internet like they did all traditional communication channels. The internet does not forget. Ever. It’s not an ‘infinite present’ like News Papers and TV. You can’t get away with the same shit you used to be able to. Biden could gaff daily and you wouldn’t know because it’d be immediately forgotten for most of his 47 years. A tape of him saying something could only leak if it was on TV or in the paper that day. Now, it’s everywhere, every day, all the time, forever. Very different media landscape.
That’s their main problem, and why they’re trying to censor the internet. This time, they just had the hubris to think that The Donald could ever grow on its own platform.
