If you regret voting for Biden on your "absentee" ballot (or more likely, know a family, friend or coworker who regrets voting Biden) you can still vote in person on election day. The vote you make on election day will take precedence over the vote you mailed in.

Yeah, I am not believing that anyone will be cross referencing every vote they count to see if there are double votes by same person.

New York State uses an electronic polling book to enable early voting. The polling book shows if you've requested an absentee ballot, if an absentee ballot has already been received by the board of elections, or if you've already voted in person. This information is available to inspectors and observers.
