Even tho my mom says he's a dickhead she admitted she has no other choice and already actually voted early for him. My dad sees him more positively but doesn't understand how truly lucky we are to have him.

I said I can send you the link to the video of livestreams from the riots that would horrify anyone. I also said I know they aren't aware because if they were they would have gone out and got a shotgun or a rifle or both. They aren't anti gun either they bought a handgun in 1986 because of the fear of the nightstalker murders. Which was heavily covered by the media.
I don't think people understand how much control the media has when they lie or omit information. Many older conservatives don't know how to get any real news at all.
