I won't encourage you one way or another since they can certainly be rough, but in my experience the subsiding of benefits was really the subsiding of euphoria that comes with amphetamine. Drugs feel good, especially at first.

I was concerned that I might have to keep increasing the dosage. It is also a colossal pain in the ass to get the prescription filled. Not worth it for my mild symptoms. It might have done me some good in my 20s, though. I was more dysfunctional then.

Its not great for you as far as side effects go, but the benefits I've experienced are literally worth the potential issues down the line.
I mean a difference of "destined for failure" and "productive member of society" as far as myself personally.
That said, I dont recommend it to others. It was a last resort for me and works, but there's a cost that I wouldn't encourage others take.
