Remember that Rudy is possibly the single greatest crime fighter in American history. He almost singlehandedly took down the Mafia. He's so nonchalant about it because busting criminals like the Bidens was quite literally what he did for his entire career.

People don’t realize what he did for NYC. I grew up north of NYC and as a kid we took the train down every weekend in 1991 because of a family member in the hospital. We didn’t ride the subways because they were full of piss, homeless people, and graffiti.
Rudy took over in 1994 and by 1996 (maybe sooner) he had completely cleaned up the city. We like to make fun of Mini Mike Bloomberg (and rightfully so) but he was smart enough to continue Rudy’s policies when he took over in 2001. The city didn’t go to shit again until DeBlasio took over in 2014.
