However, syncing to a new MAC address (identifier of the network card within the laptop) would probably trigger two-factor authentication on Hunter’s iPhone. That would have given it away. I think this guy was smarter than that.

Rudy showed his personal laptop, which happened to be an LG laptop, and has nothing to do with the hard drive from Hunter's MacBook.
The real question is when those copies of the hard drive were made. Highly doubtful any new data was introduced after the files were copied over.

The receipt has Hunter Biden's name on it. He dropped it off and then didn't come back to pick it up. There was an $85 charge for the work performed.
