I’m certainly not a tech expert, either, so hopefully someone else weighs in, but my understanding is that the vectors issue would be related to the Metadata issue.
The explanation makes sense to me that if you’re copying an entire hard drive over (and it appeared that Rudy had the hard drive copy on a PC, verses a Mac which housed the original hard drive) there would be subtle underlying changes to the data.
That doesn’t make the copy wrong. It’s just a transfer issue.
They literally discuss this point in the video
He didn't say anything about Metadata. He mentioned times and dates but not that.
They discuss how a copy of the hard drive was made and as a result it played with the vectors. Did you not watch the whole video?
I watched the video but I have no idea what vectors have to do with Metadata. Are they the same thing? Related? I'm a idiot when comes to tech. Sorry.
