I work with a transgender. She transitioned to a he. I asked him when he knew he wasn't a girl. He said when he was 10. Obviously I'd never use one example as a means for policy. I'm still in favor of waiting until at least 18 but it makes it difficult for me to hold that position given I know someone who actually did it say otherwise.
