When Twitter censors you, why do they make you remove the message yourself? They can delete it. Why force someone to go through the motions of deleting something that's already been censored?
Idk maybe it’s some power play on their part. Something you would say to a child after they make a mess “ look at what you did, now clean it up” it’s liberals they like fetishized everything so who knows.

It's psychological. Making you delete it weakens your resolve to fight back. If they deleted it, you'd grasp that truth even tighter.
