I love to think that they put her there because they figured she's black and it would be an easy win. She'd be a stark contrast to the racist Trump and she'd be visibly disgusted and checked out. Instead, the whole thing backfired on them, like Elmer Fudd trying to shotgun Bugs Bunny.
