I'm sacrificing Thanksgiving. Our usual host wants everyone to wear masks the year. I get it, over half the people are over 70, all with varying degrees of medical conditions. Since I'm not a total asshole and respect their concern, I'm not going this year.

I've always said to friend and family alike: I don't wear a mask, especially in a house and definitely not in my own house. If you're not cool with that, I don't have to come over and you don't have to come here. We'll get together when it's over.
