I took my 81 year old mother to the polls today. I helped her to the booth and her only question was "How do I vote straight ticket for Trump" She voted for every republican down to the Municipal Utility District. She's an Hispanic immigrant. If my mom is voting for Trump, I know a lot of other Latinos are as well.

Actually that's true. Stick up for yourselves. It used to bother me when there were posts of attractive conservative women here and the responses were "wife her" or that's a marrying type. And then I realized I do the same thing. If a man isn't conservative, I am not interested. But put a strong conservative man out there, and I'll take a looksee.

Look at any voter trend by race in the nation and you will see you're completely wrong.
of course you're not totally wrong, but this seems like a weird flex. kind of a selection bias i would think. this site is probably 80% or so white and similar numbers or greater % male.... not to mention more younger white males in general. so you'll see more posts of the former than the latter by sheer volume, but it's a small overall % of this site for sure.
i've also seen plenty of posts by non-white people (and white women) expressing this exact same thing- that people in their lives, family, etc. being woke and ridiculous. so pretty much both statements you made are incorrect.
i was polite because i don't think his comment was malicious. the poster is either a non-white person and he gets a kick out of this perceived dynamic or (more likely imo) he's a white person pushing a "toughen up" message to his fellow huwhites.
he's not wrong fundamentally that complaining about it doesn't solve anything, but i don't see this as a prevalent issue here. sure, maybe 0.25% of posts or so have this kind of sentiment, but it's hardly "all white males begging for emotional support." for example: i'm a caucasian male who lives in one of the most liberal cities in america. so by using simple math, most of my family and friends are democrats. i'm completely fine with it and if anything i enjoy the banter and opportunity to change minds when politics does come up.
On a forum once about trucks someone said something like "F150s are unreliable. I get them way more than any other truck" and I'm thinking no shit, it's the been by far the best selling truck for 25 years. Even if all trucks broke at the same rate, you'd get 10x more broken F150s than any other truck simply because there are so damn many. Simple concept that often gets overlooked.
upon further reflection i'm not even sure how op supposedly knows everyone's race.
most people on this site rarely mention their race apropos of nothing unless they are women or non-whites. so even further selection bias. he could be seeing a post where someone doesn't identify their race and just assume they are huwhite. on the flip side, most "my poc relative is so based" posts by definition always come out and say it.

i said people from all kinds of demographics have made posts complaining about their friends and relatives on this site- it's not an exclusively white or male thing. that is a fact. also, it's not that common of a thing on td.win, a small number of overall posts. that is a fact. the notion that you seem to see more white males doing it than non-white or non-males is because this site is overwhelmingly younger white males. that is also a fact.

I’ve noticed it really comes with how people get their news sources. I for the life of me can’t convince my parents to vote trump. But all my siblings are now pro tump Because they are more receptive to other means of information. One of them is Even a teacher in a blue state!
On the other hand I have friends who only get their news from twitter and they are so riled up and think everyone in racist huwhite supremes.

I know this stuff is anecdotal, but my MIL who has been living with us since the Wuhan virus started is voting straight Republican for the first time ever - she's still pretty sharp, but pointing out how the MSM constantly lies red-pilled her. I've gotta tell you though, it was really tough to hear MSM on the TV's in our house.
