You would technically be in possession of CP in the process. Now detectives need to make a judgement call on if you are legit or trying to cover your own crimes by "turning it in". Dont kill the messenger here. There is more to criminality than you are probably considering. You are a god guy turning something in. Others could be "bad" guys trying to evade charges by "turning it in".
Most busted in possession of CP (IME) stumbled into a honey pot. So as soon as they started the transfer its game on... I'll stop with that.

I would advise that no one takes possession of this archive. Possession of CP is a huge crime. Not a concern troll. Do work with LEO on the matter.
