Think of this: you pay 15 years of health insurance and get a long term medical problem. You move companies, so new insurance, and they block you because of your disease. You can't get health insurance any where because you used it. It's insurance companies scamming customers.
That's my point. Basically, people don't like it emotionally because they don't like when sick people suffer. It would be a scam if they enrolled someone then denied all their claims.
But the question is why do insurance companies have to provide a service to a particular person other than people want it to? Having diabetes or cancer isn't a protected class even.
