In hindsight, perhaps voting L wasn't the best decision at the time, but Trump has certainly proved himself, and age doesn't seem to be slowing him down at all, or at least not to the extent its slowing Sleepy Joe down.

There are many ways of creating illusions of potential conflict, especially when you hold the reigns of power. Just because it was "obvious" doesn't make it so. That's why I said I was jaded, because I had seen enough politicians over enough decades at that point to have experienced things that I thought were obvious at the beginning turn out to be completely false. For just one example, I lived in MA when Scott Brown was elected to the Senate when Kennedy died. He took us all for a ride and became 100% swamp the second he stepped into DC.

And it would certainly be a disaster if Quid Pro Joe were elected.

This year he has been giving us the run around and had been saying he just couldn't vote Trump, but he still hates the Democrats.
