yeah i never got how repealing 230 would make things better. wouldnt that make platforms more responsible for the content on their sites and make them fact check even more?
Shills trying to downvote the Truth ? No one is saying the Obvious....
All Republicans are even claiming to Want to do is Remove a Protection that Big Tech had as long as they didnt become Publishers, making them Liable.
They have the Base, the data, the Network, they are no longer interested in Bringing in New Ideas or ppl. So why wouldnt they move to Editing Content ?
They violated the Agreement and no one is even claiming they are going to Prosecute them...just Toss it.
Whatever we can do to destroy Facebook, Twitter, and the existence of any other social media platform will greatly benefit society as a whole. The invention of social media and the extension of news to 24/7 has massively contributed to the great divide within America. We would be much better off without them, think about it.
The only answer is to license internet platforms the same way we do broadcast stations. Blatant denial of first amendment rights should result in loss of license.

Is everyone really talking about repealing?
Pretty sure reform is the way to go, not a full on repeal.

How about we punish those that violate Agreements they've made and protections theyve enjoyed...
They should have to Drop out of Sec230 or keep incurring Fines for each violation.
