We're not against the long-standing option of requesting an absentee ballot...

If you think this is some kind of smoking gun, then you're against deployed soldiers voting.

We're against unsolicited mass-mailing of ballots to everyone because it has a much higher vulnerability for exploitation.

Now if you want to use this to paint the sheer jackassery of the opposition, then I'm game.

This guy was a completely deranged moron for thinking he'd get away with this. (even in NY)

I'm not even against mass-mailing of ballots or online voting if the system is reliable and secure. But if ballots can be cast on behalf of dead people or non-citizens, the system isn't reliable nor secure.

Hey, thats a worthwhile conversation to have, but right now the undecided voter is listening to the media push a narrative that Trump is against absentee voting in order to obfuscate from the issue of the blatant lack of security present in mass mailing of unrequested ballots.

That's a markedly different issue, and an easy argument to win if we don't let them conflate and deflect.
