Rasmussen predicted either Trump or Biden will win. Not jokingly. It was a serious answer when Sean asked him what it looks like right now based on his polling.
This is why polls should be ignored. Anyone could give this answer without ever picking up a phone to call one person.
He had another pollster (Matt Towery) on at the same time. Towery gave a straightforward answer rather than wimping out. (If you care, Towery was very optimistic for GEOTUS' chances based on his research and was one of the only polling companies that had Trump winning in 2016.)

Um, this is exactly what Rasmussen said on Fox news on election night 2016. Too close to call. Which is an easy out in case he calls it wrong, imo.
