We forget, but the press was always complaining about Obama's lack of transparency/access... Donald J. Trump is the most transparent POTUS ever

To be fair, he's still hiding only God knows what.

Some say Big Mike was smuggling an alien...

Lord only knows what and where, though. Oh, and Joan Rivers knew, too.

Coming from outside the US I always liked Obama on face value. When I find out more about the US stuff domestically he did I'm a little more aware.

The thing is what Obama did was so bad it wasn't just domestic. His administration was a part of things that shook Europe and other parts of the world.

So bad that even if you're not a US citizen his policy had an impact. Obama personally, well he can be a bloke, have a laugh, like the lion King thing, take it on the chin and dish out a little.

The problem? He was just a figure head. A personality. A firewall between everyone else in the US and who was really running the show. I can see immediately in Obama the kind of person who in principle has some scruples but in practice if you keep nagging him he'll be like ok alright. I bet in the end his kids got all the toys they harangued him for for Christmas or more likely for having seen them on the TV. Dems psych profiled him like I did. Go figure. Obama hates to be anything other than nice (likes to be the benefactor or the judgemental bistander). Easily manipulated. Even when he's nasty, he's kind of nice. They knew he'd give them everything they wanted. Sort of funny when Clinton couldn't help but to be anything but nasty try though she might.

I sense this in Obama and it was the one failing that made him perfect for the Democrats. Obama psyche profile in two words... gives in. Push over. Biden is even less subtle in this respect. They're both prime puppets but Biden is clearly more so than ever a puppet.

What I really want to know is who the puppeteer is.

I really liked the guy who brought up this secret money issue and influence when interviewing SCOTUS (proper interview from republicans, testing her actual merits, Dems were testing their fears, being the paranoid schizophrenics they are, no offence to schizophrenics, I've hired some in intellectually challenging work and it's been nothing but rewarding although it helps to chat with them even if repetitive to drain their anxiety). He was quite the player saying it's not only one side but then pointing out it's at least two to eight. It's not entirely one sided no but it mostly is. Love that guy.

That was after he had campaigned on having the most transparent white house, then doing a complete 180. He even hid the white house visitor's list which was public record until then.

He also promised he would never sign a bill unless it had been on his desk and publicly available for review for seven days. He blew that promise on the very first bill that hit his desk, and never held up to it after that.

Fair point. A few months back Trump held a press conference where he left without taking questions. The media and the rest of the left tossed their tendies for three days straight over it. So I think it's the left who is largely forgetting.

I never forgot about Obongo's broken promises, but that was because I was mentally racking them up in my head. I just knew that whole "Hope & Change" (change? from what to what?) campaign thing was bullshit, but on this one I really was hoping he'd follow through and make his administration "the most transparent ever." Remember when he said he'd set up a website with all the bills that were going to be considered by Congress so the public could read them before they're voted on? Yeah, that never happened, and he closed access to the press almost day one. I never felt betrayed because I could tell this "communist organizer" was full of shit.
