Speaking of Jesus, I’ve spent years hanging out with more than just a few people who either aren’t religious or make a mockery of Christianity as if it’s some sort of immanent threat to humanity. I use profanity often here and IRL have a long way to go in many regards, maybe my mom was too overly-religious and that’s why I sort of strayed in my 20’s to date, but I’ve still always identified as a Christian, just need to practice better. But, maybe she’s been right all along. I’ve got this site to thank for at least bringing me back to my upbringing. There’s PLENTY room for improvement on many fronts, but at least reading many posts and commenters here, it makes me feel like just being a Christian is ok, I’m not a complete outcast, and for that I’m thankfully to many of you all. Sorry to get all sappy on this post, your title just caught my attention. What a beautiful rally!
Romans 12. If you accept Jesus into your heart as the Son of the living God who paid the price for your sins, you repent of your sins, serve Him who saved you, pray constantly and study the Word of God then your mind will be remade.
I used to curse like a sailor. No more. Glory to the Father for that.
Lastly my favorite part of Romans 12:
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Take care, trust in God, and become a light in this dark world.
