Become an independent. I've been an independent since I started voting in 2004 and I get these kinds of texts every single election.
For clarity sake, I was an independent when the Democrats weren't openly campaigning for Communism. Now, Im red all the way down (except for the RINOs) but I still enjoy being the type of person that they actually care about every cycle.
I want to add this for my own sanity.... I didn't vote for Obummer.
Yeah I was an independent in Colorado, don’t even live there anymore, I switched to republican when I moved. Never get texts about local stuff, but I gotta vote in the primaries.
I wondered the same thing but i started to get them in the last two days. I havent been able to troll on a epic scale like this dude did but hopefully i'll get the opportunity.
I've been getting all kinds of texts lately. Nothing as blatant like this, but the state sure as fuck is giving my number out. I text back "Go fuck yourself" to make sure they take me off whatever list they bought.
Edit - I'm registered as independent, too. Now it makes sense. Don't worry, I've been ready, willing and intending to re-elect Trump, I just don't support the GOP.
OP played it very well, I’ve never been able to get a response I guess because I guess I’m not very good at trolling. Honestly, you probably don’t even want ‘em, they’re relentless idk how you get “on the list” but I get at least 2-5 every week. For that matter, I get like 5-6 every day from the Trump campaign because I made a couple small donations months ago, but in that case, I don’t care, it’s completely worth it.
Same here. But they make it seem like they're totally broke and losing badly. Makes me always consider donating some more even if only $5. The texts are effective!
They are. I know and the letters too, I’ll probably chip in a little bit more soon and I will be a member of the Republicans for Trump Task Force Honor Roll or something like that lol. I’ve missed out on many chances to win, I’ve been 1 of 30 for so many things. But I can live with all that, it’s worth mentioning Trump won 2016 with half as much $ as Hillary in 2016. Something like $600 Million vs. $1.2 Billion, so this year we can’t lose this election, I want Trump to heavily outspend and heavily defeat (on election night), so a handful of texts per day, I can deal that and hell, one day I might win a dinner or be put near the top of some sort of list.
I used to get them from planned parenthood. I kept asking them to stop and they wouldn’t, so I finally asked if the politician they were supporting was running unopposed in the general election (he is) and then told them to let me know when they were running a candidate against a republican so I could donate to the republican. They finally stopped texting me

Good point. I got a lot more of this when I was registered independent, but I had to register R to vote for Trump in the primaries in FL.

I'm sure most of us are like this but are an R ticket. We are the Trump party, not the GOP party. GOP needs serious reform or dismantle.
