Devil's advocate here; the email is dated after the story broke, and the magnitude of the story would give reason for the lawyer to contact the shop on behalf of his client to collect as much information as possible to defend Biden later.
That's not my theory... my theory is Hunter is completely busted and scrambling... but I can see how someone would look at this image and choose to believe otherwise or be skeptical that it's good enough evidence for others.
