I want a good, current book of the indoctrination happening in our education system for my 17 year old son. Is this something that a kid can relate to, or will it just confirm to him that his father is a bigoted white supremacist?
It’s a great book, but I had to stop after the first few chapters because it made me feel so much outrage. “I get it,” I didn’t want to torture myself. TLDR: Academia is fucked.
I taught it in my intro to political science class. Almost got me fired.
Did they tell you not to deviate from THEIR curriculum? How did they approach you about it?
