Don’t you realize Biden’s numbers are probably correct! About 4 of the 4.1 are people tuning in to see if Joe knows what office he is running for or who he is.

I flipped streams during the commercials on NBC. So they probably count me as a Biden watcher.

Probably. Like GEOTUS said, it's "negative enthusiasm" against him. Joe's a vessel, a tool, literally. Unfortunately for them, they picked the weakest race horse of the string. Most likely because they didn't want to risk losing an up-and-comer in their party against Trump, considering his stellar economic performance during his tenure up until that point. Once COVID broke out, they tried to pivot but it was too late, Joe was already chosen as the "fall guy" which was, "if he wins, great, we'll just manipulate him and then his VP; if he loses, nothing of value was lost."

NBC also blocked their Roku app.

They blocked the whole app? Or just the town hall?

when the app was launched , it would not show the town hall. Everything else worked. We switched to antenna to watch.

Sorry about the potential Fake News pedes, accidentally included NBC's all-day news stream in the last post. Wanted to make sure I got this right!

It wouldn't surprise me if the viewer retention rate was also skewed. Biden's Town Hall was a unintelligible snooze-fest (backed up by GEOTUS himself). I know I couldn't watch for more than 25min, pure torture.

Aren't your first listing and last listing for Trump the same show? Why do they have different view counts? Was one a replay?

I don't believe so, two different channels. I distinctly remember that, just before the Town Hall began, NBC posted concurrent streams. This was noted on TheDonald.Win's Watch Party that people noticed the same phenomenon. The consensus was that it was pretty much a ploy by NBC to dilute the numbers, although increased promotion through simultaneous streams across their various channels is also possible.

In some markets, they advertised the town hall as being on the primary NBC affiliate, but actually aired it on MSNBC where few people were likely to find it. People turned on NBC expecting to see it, but were met with one of their unwatchable crap programs instead with no indication that the town hall was being aired on another station.

It also made it unwatchable for those who rely solely on OTA.

Also, it's a good time to remind pedes that TV ratings are still determined by viewers keeping a manual diary. There's no magical "box" they hook up to your TV to fairly monitor your viewing. It's solely based on whatever people tell them. Not to mention they don't vet those people. They randomly contact them based on demographics and market. This means the ratings could be based on the input of habitual liars.

I mention this because the Left is claiming the TV ratings were higher for Biden. He can't get 20 people to show up for public appearances (I refuse to call them "rallies) but more people tuned in to watch him stutter his way through a snoozefest? No way.
