Because they are fake corprate shills

Jabron661 10 points ago +10 / -0

Exactly, they are all chosen, not based on talent, but on what they look like and that they are willing to do what they are told to do.

So long as they can pull off the right sound, which frankly, is pretty easy to do, they are then given their image and their songs are written and chosen for them, their albums are produced for them and their tours are booked for them.

Its a machine and since everyone is making money, no one is rocking the boat.

I am sure there are some aspiring and talented people who would gladly speak well of Trump, but you will never see them as they will never get to ride on the "big Nashville" bus.

it's when country music artists started "crossing over" that it went downhill. They care more about virtue signaling that they "Aren't holdovers of the Confederacy" than staying true to their roots.

Bro, that Nashville country pop shit ain’t real country. Look up Texas country music or red dirt country music. Ryan Bingham, Tyler Childers, Cody Jinks, randy rogers band, and if your feeling froggy, struggle Jennings, and Ryan upchurch. You won’t find skinny jeans and frosted hair tips on any of these guys.

Ryan Bingham is a commie leftist. Good music until you listen to the words.

He got me through a whole summer growing out in Northern California. I don’t think he a commie just anti establishment. Calls out all the bullshit wars we’ve had, and says go “plant a marijuana money tree”

Lots of names, but are they MAGA and based?

Link some of their stuff if it is.

3
atrex 3 points ago +3 / -0

Travis Tritt is based. My guess is most of the older country is based. Seems the turning point was when country mixed with pop, around the Shania Twain era, it all went to shit.

I haven't listened to Hank Williams III much, but he's another one I'd tentatively list

It has nothing to do with country or rap or anything else. Its corporate whores.

CrackaJack 11 points ago +11 / -0

Unfortunately "popular" Country music's demographic is 25-35 female (I have a buddy who runs a country station), so...

Music stars are no longer good musicians who made their way to the top by creating/playing awesome music. Music stars of today are chosen and created by the music industry.

They are owned by a corporate record label. Their lives are managed under a microscope and they can only say or tweet things that are approved by their owners. Step out of line and suddenly record contracts are cancelled.

We all know about the people at the top who own those further down. Evil has infiltrated every aspect of our society while we slept.

See, when the hippies demonstrated what powerfull propaganda tool music can be, the "establishment" infiltrated the whole music business. Took em till about ~2000. That's why music sucks, that's why all the lyrics suck. That's why black americans get fed crime and violence through music, that's why country is basically writing odes to decay and lostness and that's why all music for the young is vacant of any meaning, bland and superficial. Because that are the properties of their perfect citizen.

Well, u talking about Country, or that Country flavored Pop?

All that country flavored pop I hear on the radio today is just people repeating the shit they see in the country.

I say the same thing about wrestling, I would bet big money that the vast majority of wrestling fans are Trump supporters, but they seem to avoid politics now, even thought they embraced it in the past.

Even the new league has a trans woman, ir, a may pretending to be a woman who wrestles other women, and everyone acts as if he is actually a woman.

Female ring referee too, refereeing men's matches. That doesn't really bother me that much, but they should use it for angles and entertainment value more often.

sickofaltspin 2 points ago +2 / -0

I know the answer to this one because of my day gig for the last 9 years. Twitter fans have far more sway than they should among the decision makers in AEW and every non-WWE fed, and WWE is a corporate beast falling victim to Conquest's Second Law.

That said - don't know any of the refs that have made it to TV everyone on a televised network that is currently wearing the stripes are incredibly talented and good at their job.

Well, now you have to give props to Lee Greenwood and Toby Keith. The country stars that support the military 1000% are more inclined to stand with us, out in the open. TK faced withering criticism for performing at the inauguration and he said it made him a better person to have done so, that you should always be willing to perform for your country.

It has not been country music for 30 fucking years... bunch of pussy ass city boys in jacked up four wheel drives ... half of them are fucking gay models... 1 in 100 or less are actually worth a flying fuck.

Mel Tillis, Don WIlliams, Charlie Pride, Waylon Jennings, Hank Jr, Toby Keith,...

THOSE are fucking country music stars.

Can't support Trump because the Chinese market is too large and can't risk the CCP banning sales. Every single entertainment industry has whored itself out to the Chinese and can't risk making the master mad.

Lmfao, this "Country" music today isn't actually country music. It's pop country or whatever the fuck you call it. I can't listen to that shit. They're all fame-chasers and establishment cucks. Not just the country music, but most "musicians" today.

3
Nitrojunkie72 3 points ago +3 / -0

Country music is not what it once was. They got a taste if the corperate blood money and sold their soul. 90% of all music written in Nashville is done by 4 people. Sound familiar?

3
AtariArtist 3 points ago +3 / -0

Take away the momentum from the various industries.

Start 'real' country / western bands and market them with that name as the genre.

'Real Country Music'.

All the current fake acts will be outed as such and their value diminish. This can be applied to everything. Sports, Movies ... everything. Make them independently and call them 'Real'.

Because they’re all communist assholes. Stop consuming corporately produced entertainment. Stop listening to music. You’re just letting some asshole fill your head with ideas and manipulate your emotions. Turn it off.

In the 90s & oughties, country music assholes had to support conservative politics because they were still dependent on the approval of the fans and their careers could be wrecked without that approval (Cf., Dixie Chicks).

Started losing interest when country went more pop in last decade. Around the time Taylor swift left country.
