In our Constitutional Republic the process is criminal investigation, grand jury indictment, indictment unsealed, trial, conviction, sentencing, appeals, sentence carried out. Everything after an indictment is unsealed involves huge court battles. Everyone is considered innocent until the process is over. Many things that are wrong aren't illegal or if they are, they aren't likely to be successfully prosecuted. Our justice system has been weapon used to punish political adversaries. I agree with Barr that tit for tat prosecutions will only make the cancer worse.
