I've missed watching her make the press cry so much. Can't wait to see her come back with her binder.
Funny how all the key Trump admin and supporters all came down with covid just as the bombshells about biden hit from rudy? Rudy said right up front that the presidency is at stake and the D's would resort to killing people. He didn't just idly say that for giggles.
She wasn't really making any headway with them anyway, it's gotten so openly hostile in the press room, she's probably better off away from that nonsense for a while, for her physical and mental health. I enjoy watching her too, but it's gotta take a toll on her.
I'd like to see her return in a week or so, full of vim and vigor, like Trump was, rested and ready for the final push to victory. Then some time off for the holidays and family, and then 4 more years of the same nasty bullshit from the press.
Our wonderful WH Press Secretaries shouldn't have to put up with such an abusive work environment. Having such a bad WH Press Corps is a key reason why GEOTUS gives Covid messaging a grade of "D".
Put me in coach, I'll have the WH Press Corps through bootcamp and back to being the best in the world again, takes a few weeks and costs peanuts.

Solution, make the press core accountable. See if they report the truth and put + and -s for their accuracy. Low score or rude and condescending to the Speaker gets you and your news agency on the bench(not in the room) for a week. No pain, no Gain for reporters that do and do not do their job. If you are only down to 3 reporters that get the scoop first then that is their lead. Time delay the transmission by say an hour so they have the reward for being polite and accurate. NEWS IS A COMMODITY. He who gets it first gets to break it first. Second String gets the leftovers. That would straighten out the Press Corp Quickly. Also have 3 reporter slots ALWAYS available for the Press Secretary to ASSIGN or make available that are always open and can be assigned, like for foreign correspondences.

Yes, sorta similar to that, but with already long-established, pre-defined rules and grading which make it easily and immediately implementable. Each report and news agency gets a grade/ranking/points, but on their conduct in the WH Press Corps. It cleans up the classroom (what they do out of class doesn't matter so much).
The great apples will rise to the top, the bad apples will be out, and fresh apples will replace the bad.
The grading is straightforward, easy to understand, and universal. By extension it will help clean up "news" in general.
Also removes the swamp factor from behind the scenes for "favors"; which of course why its <crickets> by those whom have gotten to where they are by rubbing elbows with the right people, and not bc of straight merrit.
