Someone posted total deaths in US for last four years plus the current totals so far this year. Not surprising, but total deaths this year likely won’t be much different between now and the last few years. If there is no significant jump (there isn’t) in total deaths, it will soon be understood that almost all ‘covid deaths’ were actually from the other causes of deaths that magically dropped.
There is a substantial (14%) jump in total deaths this year.
What's more, that extra 14% constitutes about 350K deaths, which is ~150K more than the official ~200K COVID deaths.
So a lot more people are dying this year regardless of COVID. My guess is that it's from the lack of medical care (as many predicted), but there's no way to know for sure without a FOIA request.

I concede, I don't know if those numbers are wrong, indeed -- but that's precisely because there is no source in the original post.
Now, the CDC did fuck up the COVID count (among other things), sure, but
they didn't hide the data (e.g. the ICD code assignment protocol or the fact they don't have the virus or that masks are only good for protecting against splashes of blood) and
there's no evidence (that I'm aware of, anyways) they actually made up the total number of actual bodies.
Point being, the CDC is a BIG organization filled with thousands of people, who did the same job day in and day out for years, and this shit doesn't change on a dime.
You can make up a new definition for a new disease, incentivize hospitals to use that vague definition, and then change how you categorize the bodies.
But the actual body count? In every state? You give them that much credit?
