The cops usually stand down when the left is attacking Trump Supporters. I've seend videos of police arresting rioters but I don't think I've even seen a video where they step in when conservatives are being physically attacked. Maybe they do occassionaly, but I don't think I've seen it

Maybe it has something to do with how in certain blue states they are fired, reprimanded, and ordered to do those things by the blue mayors and governors. The ones who do make arrests are then demoralized when the corrupt AGs let the criminals back out on the streets without even a warning.
Hold the right people responsible. The ones ignoring attacks like this in blue states are responsible for their own decisions, yes. Not only that, but they should be held accountable in court for failing to uphold their duties.
BUT... you can't expect one human being, in the middle of all this corruption, to take all of the flak for all of the corruption surrounding them in MUCH higher office. Their superiors are telling them what to do (and what NOT to do)
