Wow. I have never been a fan of Orthodox Jews, Hasidic Jews, et al., (due to their huddling in their own neighborhoods and never truly assimilating into America, but only using this land as a threshold for elevating themselves and their culture)...as I said, before I went on that rant, I have never been a fan, but good god, to have the police break in that pre-school without a warrant is completely unacceptable. Fuck Cuomo.

I want to say that I love you and appreciate you and that I hope you and your family only see kindness, happiness and health.
Anyways, I'd love to explain more and give some context, but the point of the post was that these Orthodox Jews that you're referring to (most likely Satmar, Bobov, Breslov) are insular because they are extremely anxious, paranoid, and live their lives through a lens of fear.
An extreme example would be like the sentinalese tribe in the indian ocean who are extremely hostile towards foreigners. In the Haredi case isolation means preservation. I'd love to talk more and give additional context. Other orthodox jews (ashkenazi, sephardi, chabad, et al) are very well integrated into society and work as programmers, mechanics, electricians, businessmen, insurance brokers, etc. Not sure how much your interaction has been with them but most of them will treat you well anod kindly and be your friend. Sometimes you'll meet an asshole Jew but he's an asshole not because jewish but because he's an asshole.
To be honest if the prophecy of the Jewish were to come to fruition every Jew would move back there. We are strangers in a strange land after all.
Anyways man I'd be happy to chat further in DM but I just want to say that even Orthodox jews face palm when they see the Haredi (not in the video) acting up.
