We are also from the Bay Area. I am extremely familiar with SF, been a part of the city in one way or another for 20 years. We were there today during all of this. The city was absolutely crawling with ANTFI and far left radicals. There were several demonstration happening all over. We were marked and people were looking for us, hence the escort.
