I remember when all made in China stuff said "made in China" with a sticker because no one wanted anything they bought to say "made in China." Items made in China had a (correct) reputation for being cheap crap. Therefore, all those items just had a sticker, usually gold colored, that you could just pull off. I definitely noticed when they started branding "made in China" directly onto products, sometimes even conspicuously. I was very irritated because I hated buying "made in China" shit but back then especially it wasn't easy for me to avoid it. So I was stick with the stupid "made in China" physically imprinted or raised on a product. I swear, it used to be that a product that said "made in China" was kind of shameful and people removed those stickers.
Our own politicians sold us out. Would we normalize trade relations with Nazi Germany? Hell no we wouldn't, and China is a far greater existential threat than the Nazis ever were. The West has been feeding the very beast that wants to destroy it for decades.
