The following is completely tyrannical and also completely effective:

  • Confiscate Twitter’s domain names
  • Redirect all of them to a government website
  • Confiscate any new domain name the company may procure as a workaround
  • If any other company, like Google, acts as a proxy on their behalf from their website(s), treat them the same

This would be in leu of demanding they shutdown their servers and/or their ISPs shutdown access.

Or an enforcement agency loyal to trump just kicks in their doors, flip desks, smashes computers, beats up anyone they can get their hands on. And then with a boot on Jack Dorsey's neck, tells him that if we have to come back, it will be 100 times worse.
