Does this online portal allow you to mark a ballot though?
People are alleging that the Oregon online tool allowed you to mark ballots. My state, Illinois, has a portal where you can enter this information to determine:
A. If you're registered or not.
B. Where your polling place is
C. What voting districts or whatever your in
Viewing that information seems reasonable for the inputs you put in. Changing your ballot should not be allowed from this information.
I do not know, this was just to check Voter Status. I just found this info, because my neighboring county and the state site seemed more secure to actually see if you are registered or not.
