You're talking about basically putting up a chain link fence to keep birds out of your garden. Sure, a raven won't get through, but the house finches that are your primary concern will fly right through without even noticing that you've done anything.

But you're saying we should all put up chain link anyway even though it really isn't effective at solving the problem.
