Romney held no public office or nomination from November of 2012 until he was elected Senator in Utah in 2018. Those were the years that Romney's former staffer was on the board of Burisma. So yes, by all means, Romney most certainly could have been receiving kickbacks from his staffer but there's no evidence of that. As much as I can't stand Romney and his vote on impeachment most definitely indicates guilt, the same with his begging for a job in the Trump administration, but there's no smoking gun. There's no obvious dirty connection other than a former paid staffer. So stop saying Romney just get a few bipartisan points when Romney did not have a son that is tied up with the Ukraine energy kickback corruption scheme. Sheesh!
