That's when I met/reconnected with an old band friend from high school. I have since become a card carrying Republican, started attending church with her, married her, adopted 3 of her 5 existing children and added 2 of our own. Our life is not easy with 7 kids and my working out of town 50+ hour weeks, but I hate to think where I would be if it wasn't for her coming into my life. That woman amazes me with her ability to keep it together at all and get up every day with love in her heart. Just felt like sharing a bit this morning. Stay safe out there.
