i don't think the ad is super effective. my point is that plenty of people will see it. in the millions of people and tens of thousands of michigan and other potential swing state voters. obviously if a trump voter sees it they will probably react similarly to when i saw it. so yeah, independents and democrats... undecided voters.

my post was really about the absolute nutbar mental gymnastics of this stupid ad and the irony of them playing the song "sabotage" by the beastie boys in the background. again, i don't think a lot of people will be moved by this crappy ad but you never know even a few hundred here or there could matter in michigan, especially if there is also fraud going on.
TBH I do likes me some Beastie Boys, cause I'm OAF. I really like Boomtown Rats, and Roy Orbison,, The King, The Queen of Soul...well, you get the idea.
but "sabotage" in an ad endorsing biden and the dems re: covid?

these are the lyrics you hear in this ad about biden. they sabotaged the economy and then turned around and blamed trump. it's as plain as day to anyone actually paying attention. put trump in a lose-lose and then blame him no matter what he did or didn't do because somewhere, someone will have suffered.

i know people are stupid (especially bartenders in my experience), but this stupid? trump has said repeatedly that michigan should be open by now and that he does not support their draconian shutdowns under whitmer. biden has also said "more shutdowns and mandates" if he wins..... so this ad makes no sense.
