At least cord blood isn't part of the baby. Like, you can't squeeze the cord blood into the baby for him to use. Is there a slippery slope? ...Possibly? Maybe.

Family member recently paid for the storage of umbilical cord and blood from newborn. Annual fee forever. To be clear, money is not an issue ($250 per year). I am supportive. How is this negative for the child?
