If Hunter did this intentionally, he sure as heck had to know, that he was not only destroying dear old dad. But himself as well.

Maybe my simple mind just can't wrap itself around that theory. But why would you, in the process of taking someone out, take yourself out as well. Sorry. But it makes no sense to this simpleton.
