About 25 years ago I was at the world's coolest beach bar in St Tropez - on the French Riviera. There were plenty of gorgeous topless girls, perfectly tanned... and some very, very rich people buying drinks for everyone else. (Guys who owned diamond mines, for example)
I talked to the woman who was running the place. She told me there were many men there who were sad. "Why?", I asked her. She told me they were politicians and they had just realized they fucked up by letting in too many muslims. 25 years later, the generation has metastasized... and they were right.
