Disney's new Turner and Hooch reboot is currently filming in Vancouver. So last Friday, the studio called up the restaurant where I work and ordered over 900 dollars worth of pizza for the cast and crew. Guess how much they tipped the driver?
Hint: it's a round number.
That's right. ZERO. Nothing. Zip. Zilch. Goose. Egg. On a 900 dollar order. Can you imagine getting stiffed on a delivery that big? No way I'll be watching the series. Fuck those cheap bastards.
You must be incorrect, Disney and the Democratic Party want everyone to have a fair wage! S/
Probably used to large orders automatically including tip.
Agreed. Go out to a restaurant with more than 8 people.
We want everyone else to wait for the facts for all stories, just because I want disney to fail doesn't make this an exception. I'll keep an eye out though.
I wonder if Hooch will be trans in this one
They tip in Canada? Is it the same or is there an exchange rate on the percentage?
Sorry to inform you, but tips culture is cancer. The base cost of order should cover whole costs, including proper payment from employer to his employees. Tip should not be part of your salary but appreciation "thank you" to the company. If your salary is not enough without tips, your employer completely screws you. Big orders or repeatable orders are best tips.
That's not how it works though.
