She isn't a natural born citizen.

First I've heard this, what's the story?

We've already broken that one.

we would feel a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly replaced with REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

I think it is too late. People have already voted.

Roger that. It’s filled out and I’m guarding that ballot like it’s a tight piece of ass in Afghanistan.

I don't think they can change the game at this point. The election can not be postponed. I assume it would be Kamala. Why there should not be early voting. Only on election day.

So, if Kamala is elevated to President nominee...then all votes for Biden are null and void. Then the Dems would say their votes are disinfranchised. Chaos - with what the Dems want.

Also, wait to vote until Election Day. Why would you cast your vote early? You are knowingly voting with less information than you could have. There is no other way to look at it. That being said, I also think there should be no early voting, and Election Day should be a federal holiday of sorts. Or on a weekend. I think the same thing about opening day for rifle season in Michigan. Why the fuck do it November 15, just make it like the 2nd Saturday in November.

The one reason to vote earlier is if you have some kind of schedule conflict or think there's some risk of you not being able to make it on election day for some reason.

Ya but if I knew mail in voting was 100,%secure(it's not secure at all), I would have voted for Trump 4 years ago.

Right. I could vote for myself as president, whatever name is written on the ballot is what the vote is for.

Where things could get interesting is that states technically don't have to vote according to how their population votes, so while people write in Biden, the states could technically put their electoral-college votes in for Harris.

Everyone keeps repeating this lie that the votes become worthless. You don't vote for the president, you vote for "electors" that have pledged to vote for the candidate.

In the case that someone on the ticket dies, they could literally pick anyone, although the electors are hand-picked by the DNC, so they'd probably hold a convention to make that choice.

The most logical outcome would be that Harris climbs to the top of the ticket, and another VP is selected. Though the electors can technically vote for whomever they want in some states.

This has happened before, but not where it would've changed who won:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1872_United_States_presidential_election#Results

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1912_United_States_presidential_election#Death_of_Vice_President_Sherman

Biden could technically "win" the electoral pledged votes, and subsequently be voted against in the electoral college. But if Trump doesn't get more than half the electoral votes, it will be turned over to the house:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faithless_elector

But it wouldn't be 1 representative 1 vote, it'll be 1 state 1 vote.

The Twelfth Amendment requires the House of Representatives to go into session immediately to vote for a president if no candidate for president receives a majority of the electoral votes (since 1964, 270 of the 538 electoral votes).

In this event, the House of Representatives is limited to choosing from among the three candidates who received the most electoral votes for president. Each state delegation votes en bloc — each delegation having a single vote; the District of Columbia does not get to vote. A candidate must receive an absolute majority of state delegation votes (i.e., at present, a minimum of 26 votes) in order for that candidate to become the president-elect. Additionally, delegations from at least two thirds of all the states must be present for voting to take place. The House continues balloting until it elects a president.

The House of Representatives has chosen the president only twice: in 1801 under Article II, Section 1, Clause 3; and in 1825 under the Twelfth Amendment.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Electoral_College#Contingencies

Since DC doesn't get a vote, and a majority of states are republican, the odds are in Trumps favor there also.

Two things: I doubt being arrested, even for treason, can involuntarily remove someone from a ballot. From the judicial principal that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Secondly, of joe voluntarily quits, all his votes go to kamala, and remaining voters would choose between Trump and that hag.

Really, you don't want him gone from the ticket. Just badly humiliated.

I've been wondering this. I think the DNC would have to appoint a replacement candidate.

plasssticman 2 points ago +2 / -0

...and suddenly - HILLARY!

2
IHeartMyDoggy 2 points ago +2 / -0

Maybe that is why Pompeo said he had Hillary’s emails so she wouldn’t jump in there.

2
maga_gal 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't think so. They'd probably bring in someone else. Hillary wouldn't have a chance.

MaximumMAGA 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's too late to get someone else on the ballot. They're stuck with Kamala. If she wins somehow she'll appoint her VP

It's surprising how many recent results were returned over this question when I did a search. I finally found some good info though.

Both the Republican and the Democratic parties have rules in their bylaws governing how to fill the vacancy (In case a candidate dies or leaves the ballot). The Party Chair calls a meeting of the National Committee, and the Committee members at the meeting vote to fill the vacancy on the ticket. A candidate must receive a majority of the votes to win the party's nod.

This close to the election, I do not think the committee would have time to select a candidate and it would throw all the early voting into chaos. In that case, I believe they would keep Biden on the ballot. IF Biden won via cheating, then the vice-president would instead become the President, since we vote for both a President and Vice President.
