Agreed the idea of driving smoothly down the 405 sounds insane to anyone who drives there on a regular basis. You get boxed in during rush over traffic on the daily.
If traffic was moving slowly (see LA) then she was probably just boxed in by traffic, not out of spite. Although when you're princess snowflake of Alderaan leading the revolution everyone is against you.

There is no "go around" on the 405, even when there isn't a Trump parade rolling through: it's the world's most congested freeway.
