That actually happened to me. Timed the light to go through on green and hit a guy in the crosswalk at night. Heard a thud and saw him fly by my windshield. For 20 minutes his friend was all “you are goin’ to jail!” And “you are going to pay” As a teenager it scared the hell out of me. The dude was banged up pretty bad but sitting up and coherent. Cop came and interviewed witnesses then came over to me and asked me if my car was damaged. Hehe. He crossed on a “don’t walk” signal. He refused an ambulance. Dumbass.
